Hi, friends!
I am so excited to be your director next year and already have some ideas in the works for Cycle 2. Would you please comment on these ideas to let me know what you are interested in participating in?
1. Red Wolf Farms educational field trip (this will be their last season!)
2. Meet up at the library to learn about the Dewey decimal system - possibly also get the kids together to pick out books. Mine are always interested in what their friends are reading.
3. Group apple picking at Apple Hill Orchard and Cider Mill
4. Ornament painting
5. Secret sister/prayer partners - think low key, stick in the sand style - like notes of encouragement
6. Monthly park days
7. Group strawberry picking
8. Meet ups at the Farmer's Market (they may even give us a tour) and picnic
9. Field trip to police station or fire department (we can turn this into a community service project and take baked goods with us)
10. Speaking of community service, I would love for us to get together and make blessing bags or serve a meal at the soup kitchen or something --- open to other ideas here as well!

During Cycle 2...
- We will be studying the phases of the moons (Oreos! Yum!)
- History - Medieval to Modern... Week 13 is the Industrial Revolution. Hoping we can do a field trip to learn about furniture being made. Anyone have a furniture connection?
- Science experiements...
We're exploring rockets, paper airplanes, popsicle stick catapults and more! - Art in the Style of...
Rembrandt, Monet, and Van Gogh to name a few - BRAND NEW Scripture memory for Cycle 2 this year...
Creation - Genesis 1:1-27
